Returns or Exchanges


Refunds or exchanges are only accepted within 30 days of the original purchase date. Your original sales receipt is necessary for all refunds and exchanges. Merchandise must include all original parts in new and unused condition. Merchandise must be returned or exchanged in the same condition as when it was purchased. Merchandise that has been altered, shows signs of use, wear, damage or in otherwise unsellable condition will not be accepted.

 

The purchase price of the merchandise will be credited back to your original method of payment. Your credit should post approximately two days after the date of processing and may take up to two billing cycles to appear on your monthly credit card statement. Exchanges will be made for merchandise of equal or lesser value with the difference being credited to your original method of payment. Any additional cost associated with shipping the replacement will be a separate charge and the responsibility of the customer.

 

Leaf and Petal at the Gardens also offers refunds in the form of Gift Cards in the amount of your original purchase. These gift cards can be redeemed at other Leaf and Petal locations in Birmingham, AL. Returns or exchanges are not accepted on seasonal merchandise, sale merchandise or items on which the customer has received a discount.

 

Returns on special orders are not accepted unless they have been lost or damaged during shipping. Customers will receive a replacement or refund after we have received a refund for the damaged or lost merchandise from the vendor or shipper. When returning merchandise to us, we recommend you use a form of traceable delivery and insure your merchandise for your protection. Please describe the reason for your return and include it with your item. Returns should be mailed to:

Leaf and Petal at the Gardens is not responsible for lost items or shipping fees or for refunding or reimbursement of for return shipping fees. In cases of receiving damaged or defected merchandise, the return process can expedited by providing a digital image of the damage or defect, along with a clear description of the problem, in an email sent to us at leafnpetal@yahoo.com

Shipping Information

Leaf and Petal at the Gardens strives to ensure your purchase arrives intact and as quickly as possible. We normally ship USPS or UPS depending on which is most economical and expedient but try to use whichever shipping service the customer desires. Orders are typically shipped within 24-48 hours or as soon as possible. Most orders place Monday-Friday will be processed and confirmed the same day. Most orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will be processed, confirmed or shipped on Monday or Tuesday. Leaf and Petal at the Gardens uses a UPS shipping calculator to determine shipping price and will typically ship your item by UPS via the method chosen during checkout.

 

Items that are ordered together may not ship out on the same day, and occasionally item may be temporarily out of stock or back-ordered. You will be notified in either instance and will be provided an approximate date for shipment. Any shipping delay will be communicated to you at the time of your order.

 

Orders sent to P.O. Boxes can be sent by USPS priority mail only. Overnight and Express shipping are not available to P.O. Boxes.

 

As a precaution when shipping fragile or breakable items, we do use large, oversized, or multi-box packaging to insure against breakage and damage during shipping. This extra care to protect your purchases may result in an additional handling fee. In order to be sure your purchase arrives to its destination and to find out why if it doesn’t, Leaf and Petal at the Gardens requires each order to have a tracking number and is insured against loss or damage.

 

We offer in store pick up for all our items. Additionally, we offer special arrangements for pick ups beyond normal business hours. Typically, we do not offer freight services on our large furniture items but will assist you in arranging delivery with freight companies.

 

Expedited shipping is available for most addresses for an extra charge. We offer expedited shipping for only in stock items excluding furniture. Expedited shipping is not available for orders outside the continental USA.

 

International Orders are accepted for items being shipped outside the continental USA. For information regarding shipping items internationally, please call 205 877 3030 using country code 01. Customers shipping internationally are responsible for international taxes, duties and charges for refused shipments.
